Art Course for Kids 26th - 29th July 2011
Me and You and You and You: Friendship has many faces - this year's Wildshcönau Children's Art Week motto .
The first smiles for the family, the first friends in Kindergarten - friendship has many faces - the creative theme of the Wildschönau Children's Art Week.
Monika Jäger, Art and Craft course specialist is responsible for the group of budding artists. "The course is extremely creative, exciting and above all interesting" says the professional Kindergarten teacher.
Course (for children from 6 - 14) takes place 26th, 27th, and 29th July in the mornings from 9 am - 12 pm. Cost: € 95. The works of art (paintings and clay sculptures) will be exhibited at the Art Festival on 31st July 2011.
Metal Symposium, 25th - 31st July 2011
featuring three international metal performance artists und the direction of Master blacksmith Josef Feller
As every year, in the week from 25th to 31st July three new sculptures will be created which will be placed in the Sculpture Park around the Mittermoser Reservoir, joining the 24 sculptures already on display.
During the week there will be ample opportunity to watch the artists at work.
Festival on the Alm 31st july 2011
The Art Week reaches its highlight on 31st July where the new sculptures will be unveiled and the children's pieces of art will be displayed.
A mountain mass will be celebrated beginning at 11 am. Live music in the festival marquee.
The Mittermoosen Alm is easily reachable on foot from the Markbachjoch Gondola.
